* 1 1/2 c. julienned onion
* 1/3 c. (3 oz.) mascarpone cheese
* 1 prepared pizza crust (12")
* 3/4 c. (about 4 oz.) cubed Italian-style Gorgonzola cheese
* 1/4 c. chopped pecans
1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
2. In a sauté pan over high heat, brown the onions until caramelized; cool.
3. Place the pizza crust on a pizza pan or a large baking sheet. Spread the mascarpone evenly over the pizza crust. Place the cooled caramelized onions on the cheese. Sprinkle the Gorgonzola and pecans over the top. Bake for 6 to 9 min. or until the crust is lightly browned and the cheese is hot.
